Description
The Modern Jazz SextetDizzy Gillespie (tp) Sonny Stitt (as, ts) John Lewis (p) Clifton "Skeeter" Best (g) Percy Heath (b) Charlie Persip (d)Original Norgran Records #MG N-1076, a 12 inch 33&1/3 MONO THICK VINYL DEEP GROOVE from 1956, with a beautiful David Stone Martin cover!The vinyl is essentially mint, preserved in that wax inner sleeve all these years, it's perfect.
The thick card stock cover has a piece of tape wrapping around the top left corner due to a split down the spine there, and some light wear on the back. Also an old record store stamp (Rainbow Music Shop) and a price written in pencil (see pictures for more details).
