WILHELM FURTWANGLER BEETHOVEN SYMPHONY NO. 3 EROICA
With the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra this is the original Urania DG LP from 1953, withdrawn after release. Mega rare!! A and B stampers in matrix. First (and only) release.
The cover is VG to VG+, shows it's age and has shelf wear. The spine has wear near the top obscuring some writing but is clear towards the bottom. Otherwise, no splits and intact.
The record is a strong VG+...it shows some light scuffs and has spindle marks. Does have some very minor surface noise from time to time, but sounds GREAT overall to this listeners ears. Towards the end of the record, there is a light popping noise for about 10 seconds. I think someone played this often, but carefully, to leave for future listeners to enjoy.
