Description
For sale here is a WHITE LABEL record by Queen.
This is a very rare piece of vinyl, it is the first piece of Queen work on vinyl in the uk.
Produced as a sampler for a 1973 pop group conference organised by EMI to promote Queen, Blue Mink and James Webley.
please note I also have the Blue Mink record also listed for auction with the same sleeve.
Please see screenshots from a Queen fan website which confirms the history of this item.
This item is classified as rare, and is one of the most sought after Queen vinyl.
Comes in its original sleeve with pictures and contact details of the EMI executives.
Released in 1973.
vinyl marked YAX 4623 and YAX 4624.
Vinyl looks in good condition, possibly never played, there is some dust inside the sleeve.
Please see pictures.
This is part of a collection that I am selling for a family member who inherited it from their uncle, who was an EMI records sales representative. He accquired these as part of his work, not as someone who wanted to listen to them, and doesn't seem to have played them much, if at all.
Please have look at my other listings, i will be listing them in the coming weeks.
Please note I am not an expert on grading vinyl, please forgive me if I have omitted anything obvious or important, if you need further details on anything please ask.
Thank you.
