For this LP, as we 're talking about a rare and unique collector's item the only available shipping option is Recorded Airmail, offered at a single price to anywhere in the world (apart from the countries to which I do not ship parcels of course) and that price is 20EUR or 26USD. What was unearthed from the vaults is an amazing Warlord rarity. I 'll spare you with all unnecessary details about the band and move straight away to the important info...


This is an original 1984 test pressing of the band's 'And The Cannons Of Destruction Have Begun...' album. Check the photo for Side A label (it says Side A but the 'A' letter is covered in that blue ink; you can see it if you look at it from an angle) and there you can see the catalogue number (9806), which is for the Roadrunner Records LP version, plus the date (20 Nov. 1984).


Matrix number on Side A: MPO RR 9806 A1 A ROEM( I really can't make out the second word, I think is says 'ROEM') PRIME CUT
Matrix number on Side B: MPO RR 9806 B1 ROEM (same word repeated as on Side A's matrix - I really can't tell, sorry, strange fonts indeed!!)


But this is not all; as you can see, together with this stunning test pressing, Roadrunner prepared a foldover test sleeve to go with the vinyl, including the product code, album title and label's name of course. And for a 30-year-old light paper product, it has matured quite well. There's creasing and general wear but I 'm positive this is of no concern here.

I have no idea where exactly this was pressed or how many copies were prepated altogether but I know MPO did vinyl pressings in France and the U.K. - Let the Warlord maniac who wins this unravel the mystery!

Haven't given any info on the vinyl yet, so here it goes: There are a few markings on it and some fingerprints (some of them are mine) but on the whole this has seen very little play. The labels are ultra clean!!
