Description
Iconic band in this amazing masterpiece of 80's UK indie. One of the best records and one of the best groups ever. The Smiths released Meat Is Murder in 1985 in Sire Records in the US. The gorgeous voice of Steven Morrissey matched with Johnny Marr's unique guitar style accompanied with Andy Rourke's bass and Mike Joyce's drums made some beautifully sweet history. Original Sire Records first press, unfortunately does not include "How Soon Is Now?" which was added to later pressings after becoming a success. Meat is Murder includes I Want The One I Can't Have, That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore, Meat Is Murder, The Headmaster's Ritual and others. Sire Records 1-25269
