Velvet Underground & Nico s/t LP ~ Verve Orig MONO PROMO ~ w/ Torso & Banana WOW


The Velvet Underground & Nico - S/T - Verve V 5008, mono, 1967.  Extremely rare east coast promo pressing with yellow promotional labels.  Unairbrushed “torso” on back cover.

Matrix A side: (S symbol) V5008 Side 1 mG558 Rev

Matrix / Runout: V5008 SIDe 2 mG559.

Vinyl is VG    Some light hairlines and scuffs, several feelable marks.  Plays well with some surface noise and a few instances of mild ticks.  No skips observed on my system.  Labels look VG++, a few faint spindle marks

Sleeve is VG    Minor corner bumping, staining/moisture damage at top right of front (also slightly evident inside gatefold), discoloration/dark rubbing to front and back.  No splits, presentable despite its flaws.  The banana sticker is intact, but is torn just below the stem and was reapplied slightly askew.  There is a marker scribble/stain at the top portion of the sticker.  Includes MGM inner sleeve in VG condition (corner creasing, mild age discoloration).
