Description

This is an original rare first pressing with the impossible to find TORSO back cover Mono# V-5008 LP "The Velvet Undergound with Nico". The jacket is in Near Mint condition on the back, gatefold and front with a small patch of invisible wear on the front and pure white (no yellowing) around the front and back except the extreme edges where there is slight natural fading. It is unnoticeable, but needs to be pointed out because this is a collectable piece.The vinyl is Near Mint and plays perfectly with no surface noise.This was produced by Andy Warhol on the Verve Label  The includes their hit single "Heroin".  The Banana is unpeeled although the top 1" of the banana was once pulled down slightly and placed back. No seam splits, or color fading.  

This LP has been in my personal collection for 20 years and never played. It is time to give it a new home to someone who values, music, design and Warhol.
