Up for sale is the following 78 rpm 2 disk records, both sides of which are depicted in the photographs:
VICTOR 35963 & 35964 AN AMERICAN IN PARIS (parts 1-4) - GEORGE GERSHWIN 78 RPM (on 2 disks)
I am finally selling the vinyl records of a beloved uncle who passed and left a horde of records that can no longer be stored in my house. Here, I am selling 2 old 78 rpm records from 1929. They have no record or dust jacket. Just the records are being sold.
These old 78 records are particularly tender, fragile, and scratch easily. But, as a collector, you already know those facts.
These records came from the treasured collection of a predeceased musical theater aficionado. Overall, the records are gently used. All seem to have light scratches here and there. I will mention any significant condition issues which I visually perceive, but absence of a statement about condition does not mean that the record is perfect. PLEASE review the photographs carefully as these are of the same record, or records, which are part of this lot.
THIS IS STRICTLY AN “AS IS” SALE WITH NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. I am a regular Joe who has made a very quick visual scan of the album; I am not a vinyl record dealer. If I notice a scratch or some other condition issue, I will try to mention it above. However, I have no idea if these records play without a pop or skip somewhere on the tracks.
SHIPPING WILL BE BY USPS’ MEDIA MAIL, UNINSURED. The albums will be stacked together with a layer of bubble wrap or other protective padding around the stack of albums and will be shipped in a cardboard mailer. I have had no prior complaints with shipping. However, if you want these albums shipped by a different method, or with insurance, you will have to bear the added cost.
