THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO:  VERVE Records HI-FI MONO V/5008  (Mfd in the USA in '67)  This is it--the LP that made History and changed the face of Rock.  The Yellow Verve DJ Promo copies of this album are rare, but there were a handful of White Label DJ Promos released, not many, and this is one of the very few out there.  You can see one on POPSIKE's web site.  It turned up about a year ago.  This came from a Collector who obtained it in the 60's, played it very few times (if at all), put it in a plastic bag, and stored it away.  It has very neatly etched in the Dead Wax Zone:  V-5008-S-2, and about an inch and a half after that:  MG-558-P-U;  the other side has V-5008-S-2 and MG-557.  The gatefold cover is in excellent condition with some slight shelfwear marks.  No yellowing or age spots, no splits, no writing.  The Banana still has the Yellow sticker, UNPEELED.  The back has a large sticker placed over the Projected Image on the back wall.  The label is clean and new on both sides, and very White (no yellowing, or age spots).  I tried to Scan the label for the best image, but neither of them do this justice.  The only spindle mark was put there by me when I checked the sound quality.  The vinyl is clean and has its original gloss.  It looks New, and plays New;  it's still in the original VERVE paper sleeve.  This is an extremely rare record, in remarkable condition.  You'll never find another in better condition.  I can ship this anywhere in the USA Media Rate for $4.00, but it should ship Air Priority for $10.00.  Insurance is not optional, but I won't have a price for it until the record sells.  If this goes to a non-US Bidder for over $50, it will have to ship via Registered Mail (to comply with PAYPAL regulations), but I'll pay $5 of the $11.50 fee.  If it sells for $120-$500 to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority ($28 + $4 Insurance) with full Insurance for the amount sold, in order to comply with PAYPAL regulations (if paid for with PAYPAL).  If it sells for $500 and up it will have to ship Global Express Guaranteed for around $70-$114 + Insurance for the amount sold.  This might ship to Japan for $28 + Insurance due to different arrangements between the Postal Systems.   Postage is only estimated here, and I will have to email you exact Overseas Postage rates when the auction closes.  I know it sounds confusing, but Postage can drive you right up the wall.  It's the Insurance that makes it so difficult to ship;  the Post Office makes it more difficult every time it changes its rates, and Paypal makes it necessary to ship fully insured.   If you have very little Feedback and no eBay history, please don't bid on this or I'll cancel your bids.  I want to deal with people I can trust.  I can take PAYPAL.  No reserve on this.  Good luck!
