On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Van Morrison called "Tupelo Honey" and is an ORIGINAL UK 1971 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Warner Bros label!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP AND THIS ONE IS PARTICULARLY SPECIAL!!!! IN FACT - THIS SURELY HAS TO BE THE RAREST VAN MORRISON / THEM RELATED LP YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!! THIS LP IS A MEGA RARE 'TEST' PRESSING WITH THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS MATRIX NUMBERS (A1/B1), AND 'WHITE TEST PRESS' LABELS!!!! JUST FINDING A STANDARD 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN NICE CONDITION IS VERY HARD INDEED - BUT FINDING AN ULTRA RARE 'TEST PRESSING' IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE!!!! ONLY A ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL (NO MORE THAN 10-20 COPIES!) OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - WERE EVER MADE AS 'TEST PRESSINGS', TO TEST THE SOUND QUALITY & MIX OF THE LP PRIOR TO FINAL APPROVAL!!!! ONLY AFTER THIS 'TEST PRESSING' WAS FINALLY APPROVED - COULD THE 1ST PRESSING RUN BEGIN!!!! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Warner Bros UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in SUPERB condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is K 46114 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Warner Bros Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The MEGA RARE 'Test' Press White label record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in absolutely AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, only 2 or 3 absolutely ULTRA light TINY surface traces, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AMAZING!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must visually grade MINT(Minus)!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'MacNeill' Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO splits, NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), only very VERY slight rubbing (barely visible on this VERY light coloured cover!), NO rips, NO tears, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! THIS SURELY HAS TO BE ONE OF THE RAREST VAN MORRISON / THEM RELATED LPs YOU WILL EVER SEE!!!! IN FACT THIS LP COULD EVEN BE UNIQUE LIKE THIS (AND ALMOST CERTAINLY IS!)!!!! IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER) BEFORE YOU GET ANOTHER CHANCE TO OWN AN ULTRA RARE TEST PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!!
