Description
I am a big U2 fan and have been an avid collector of U2 memorabilia for over 30 years. In 1987, I won a local competition and the prize was a wood carving of my choice. "You can name ANYTHING and I'll carve it for you," boasted the designer. No surprises for guessing, I chose "The Joshua Tree" and when he saw what I wanted, he was not so cocky!!
It took him ages to make this and by the end of it, he probably hated me, and U2!
However, It's fair to say, he did a first class job.
As you can see from the pictures, it is an impressive 3D carving and I love the way it's been layered.
It has an attachment on the back so it can be mounted.
Size: 11 x 16 x 1.5 Inches (28 x 41 x 4cm)
This is a solid carving and is reasonably heavy.
I am also including some Joshua tree seeds that I bought when I was in Arizona J
From pet free, non-smoking home
As I said, I’m a big U2 fan so I have mixed feelings about selling this hence the high pricetag. So, If it sells, it sells. If not I’m not too bothered :-)
