This is a signed copy of an Australian Original press on the Columbia label catalog # SCXO 7926 and made in Australia 1970

Comments:

This original album has been singed by Michael Carlos and Richard Lockwood two band members of Tully on the inside gatefold cover. This is the first signed Tully album I have ever seen so its  very rare. The members at the time of this recording were Terry Wilson -Vocals, Ken Firth -Guitars, Michael Carlos -Keyboards, Richard Lockwood - Reeds and Robert Taylor -Percussion.

Tully's members were serious musicians, willing to experiment and explore sound through intellectual stimulation and emotional feedback. Improvisation and the mood of the moment were the keys to expanded consciousness. To facilitate their search for spiritual awarness, the members of Tully combined rock, jazz, psychedelia and the Eastern symphonic tradition with a large dose of Eastern mysticism that placed the idea of love and self knowledge at the core of existence.
Tully formed in Sydney in late 1968, and along with Tamam Shud (with whom they often performed) they were the doyens of the Sydney underground/progressive scene in the late 60's and early '70s. Their lyrical and expansive music and their interest in mysticism and esoteric philosophy was at some remove from the earthy blues/boogie ethos of contemporaries like The Aztecs, but they built up a strong following on the Sydney underground scene and the Melbourne concert circuit. Tully's members were all highly accomplished multi-instrumentalists, with years of experience behind them, and this musical breadth quickly earned them a reputation as one of the most adventurous and polished concert bands of the period.

Condition:

Record: VG+

This record is very clean except for two light marks and one small scratch on side one track 3 that causes a couple of very faint ticks otherwise there is no other effect on the sound. It plays great loud and clean with no background noise.

Sleeve: VG+ 

This record cover  is clean except for some minor shelf wear and a mark along one of the inside edges. There are no splits. Has been signed by two band members on the inside.
