Description
Tordenskjolds Soldater, SL 1019, original Danish Spectator record!
Up for sale is a very rare Danish record issued on the highly collectable Spectator label in 1970. Tordenskjolds Soldater were a Jazz band with a proggish/psychedelic leaning. They only issued this record. Spectator records was a small alternative Danish record company active in the years 1969-72. Among collectible records can be mentioned 'Terje, Jepser og Joakim', 'Moses' & 'Furekaaben'. All master-tapes were lost in a fire and the only remains are the original records which were pressed in relatively few copies (200-1000). (Go to http://www.spectator-records.dk/ for more info.)
Condition:
Record: vg++.
There are visible surface marks, but they don't affect playing much. The sound is rich and full with only a few occasional light crackles.
Cover: vg++.
The record has been kept in plastic presumably since it was first bought. At the right edge there are signs of handling though. There is no spine damage, writing or stickers.
