I am very pleased to be able to offer this mega 1962 Canadian Beatles rarity which almost never turns up,of the 200 released to Canadian Radio stations a handful are known to exist worldwide,the others were returned to Decca after the record bombed at the radio stations and were melted down.Further info can be found on the website run by Piers Hemmingsen Canada’s expert on the Beatles..the Website is Capitol6000, as well info can be found in his great monumental book...The Beatles in Canada,The origins of Beatlemania.
It is a guaranteed original 1962 45 single RPM..see the deadwax photo of the matrix...DGG66833 A4 ,B Side matrix is DGG 24673 B4..The disc shows some wear and some scuffs and marks,but it plays well.There are also two ridges or lines that extend from the label going out to the edge of the disc,at the beginning of the quiet part intro you can hear a tiny thump, when the needle hits that part .However it still sounds good despite that...
