Please take into consideration that promotional copies, before they ended up in a collection, they were actively being used at a radio station as a demonstration example and this couldn't to one degree or another but affect their condition. If you intend to acquire this copy for the listening purpose only, perhaps the best solution would be to purchase a CD with a great mastering where you'll hear a perfect sound without all the flaws which almost all of the vintage promotional copies have due to being used by DJs during broadcasts. Additionally, some flaws (such as ticks, pops and background noise) of such records might be resolved with a good cleaning, please take this circumstance into consideration when reading the description of the vinyl in our listings. If you're a collector and purchase such copies as an investment then you're on the right path as without any doubts the value of these rare examples increases every year.

The clean cover is in beautiful Excellent condition and doesn't have any splits, writing or residue. There's some light push in to the top left and bottom right corners. The interior gatefold is in Near Mint Minus condition. The cover has some very light shelf wear in a couple of spots as well as a light diagonal mark in the lower right-hand corner on the back. The banana sticker is in great vintage condition. The sturdy spine has a fully readable text. The images on the back cover, including the central image with Eric Emerson, retain its vibrant colors and don't have any scuffing. I grade the vinyl as Very Good. It retains its factory gloss but has some marks and hairlines as well as scuffs from the original paper inner sleeve which is in Near Mint Minus condition and doesn't have any splits or tears. The yellow vibrant labels are very clean and are in Excellent Plus condition, scuff- and wear-free, only having a few light spindle marks that can only be seen under a strong light source. The vinyl sounds well in general but has some light pops in several places and a couple of skips. Perhaps some flaws will disappear if you change the balance of your tonearm. Most likely, the pops and skips also could get reduced or go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning
