Description
Step into the psychedelic realm with the iconic VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO LP, as presented by the visionary Andy Warhol. This quintessential piece of the 1960s art rock scene, pressed on the West Coast, is a true collector's gem. The vinyl material ensures a rich audio experience, while the original inner sleeve adds an authentic touch to this musical journey. This LP features the legendary band's unique blend of acid rock and art rock genres, captured in a classic 33 RPM mono format. The cardboard sleeve case type preserves the era's essence, and despite the sleeve grading of Very Good Plus (VG+) Cover has some aging, a neatly scotch taped partial seam split at openings & a light pen mark on the back, the record's grading of Excellent (EX) to Near Mint (NM) promises an impeccable listening experience for fans and collectors alike. One of the cleanest vinyl discs of this classic I have ever seen!! Check out the pictures of the labels, they are magnificent with no spindle marks. This lp was handled very carefully & hardly played! This LP played very well on my light tracking Thorens turntable. The cover is nice but it has aging a light pen mark in the back & a couple neatly taped partial seam splits. I listed the 2 mono press specifics below & I have the 1968 press, however it appears that the only difference is the back cover image. The labels & the vinyl are the same on both the 1967 & 1968 releases & both were used in 1967 & 1968. Here is your chance to have a great copy of this classic, or if you have the original torso cover in NM condition a massive upgraded original vinyl disc for it now worth $1500 to 3000!!!
