Record: Beautiful! Looks & plays Mint- / VPI cleaned / By the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have been played a couple of times.
COMMENTS: Incredible copy of this super rare 1960's Private Press Garage / Frat Rock Monster!! Along with albums like the Fantastic Dee Jays and The Dimensions, this is probably one of the scarcest sixties Garage Rock LP's album in existance.
Only a handful of copies are known to exist and is given the highest (6 discs) value rating in the Collector Dreams Pokora book and is also highly rated in the Psych bible, The Acid Archives
Custom (private) pressed in micro quantity by the terminally obscure RPC label, Recorded Publications Co. of Camden, New Jersey. The record contains very little info, not even band members last names! It is however an East Coast '60s garage, teenbeat, Frat Rock LP that is probably a genuine live recording. The Royalaires are tight afour piece featuring guitar, bass, drums and singer line-up. The vocalist is really raw raver and whoever the lead guitarist "Art" was he's actually really quite good, turning in a series of kick-ass revved-up performances. Check him out on 'Walkin the Dog', 'Bring It On Home', "Time Machine" and 'Guitar Boogie'.
On other tracks like "Rockin' Robin" and "Together Again" the Royalaires sound like one of the great Pacific Northwest bands like the Sonics or the Wailers. This album has a very cool Saturday night atmosphere with the band coming off like tough '60s greaser rockers!
