THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'/'DIZZY MISS LIZZY'
Not released in the UK at the time as a single, this UK-pressed EXPORT 45 of 'Yesterday' b/w 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy' dates from August 1965.
This exceptional example disc has black & silver Parlophone labels (DP 563) with 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the 'Yesterday' label.
Matrices: 7XCE 18739-1 & 7XCE 18740-1
Stamper codes: 1/G & 1/A
Housed in an original 'Fran the Fan' Parlophone company sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT +
Very clean with its original centre fully intact and no noticeable spindle marks to either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces are clean, & glossy, bearing just a couple of light surface marks beneath halogen light, but nothing we would call a scratch.
Audio: EXCELLENT
Both tracks on this little played disc sound great on this single format. There is a touch of light background on 'Yesterday' but 'Dizzy Miss Lizzy' is a revelation. Its sounds much better than on the 'Help!' LP where being positioned at the end of side 2, it is always distorted. No such issues here.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & fully intact with some light storage wrinkling.
