Original unique "LIFE" magazine set. Factory sealed copy of the 10th album of The Beatles released on Capitol Records in the US in 1966. This "Trunk" cover copy pressed at the Capitol Records Scranton, PA pressing plant as identified by the RIAA "3" number in the lower right-hand corner on the back. The top right of the front cover contains an incredibly rare rectangular "ADVERTISED IN LIFE" red background sticker with the "LIFE" magazine logo. Among one of the companies that placed its ads in the "LIFE" magazine, Capitol Records was one of them. The release of the albums advertised in the magazine was equipped with a sticker on the cover informing the buyer that the album has been advertised in "LIFE". I've never seen a cover with such a unique sticker, just like the second item of this marvelous set, which is the original incredibly rare fold-out two panel "LIFE" magazine color subscription form insert postpaid card. The front panel of this uniquely designed insert has a rare photo taken by Henry Grossman at the EMI studios on Abbey Road in England. This original unused insert was attached to the middle of the "LIFE" magazine's issue with the same staples that held the pages of the magazine together and was used for subscription. After detaching the mail form and filling out your information you could ship the form to the "LIFE" magazine at Time & Life Building, Chicago, Illinois 60611. Original 1967 insert is 7" tall and 5.5" wide including the protruding part. (The left panel of the insert is slightly shorter than the right one and has the width of 5") To say that this insert in incredibly rare would be a complete understatement, just like the original poster which represents the third item in this set. The Beatles ruled the airways and dominated the media when the July 24, 1967 issue of "LIFE ASIA EDITION" hit the stands containing the "The New Far-Out Beatles" title against the portrait of the Fab Four taken by Grossman. The cover of this magazine served as a prototype for creating the original poster. With a portrait of the Fab Four gracing the cover, the publishers knew they'd have a "sell out" on their hands and created this poster as a point-of-purchase advertisement that the issue was now on sale. The original 26.5" x 34.5" poster has the credits at the bottom left and right corners reading "® Henry Grossman © Time Inc." and "July 24, 1967".

The record is in stunning Mint condition only having some very light bumping to the top left corner. The shrink wrap has two breathe holes on the front cover and is fully intact without having any tears or splits. The "ADVERTISED IN LIFE" sticker is also in great condition with only some light age discoloration in the place where it slightly wraps around the top edge of the cover. Considering its age the vintage poster is in wonderful condition without any folding creases or pin holes. The front side only has a few very light barely noticeable scuffs at the top with the back having a light barely visible staining at the top. The subscription form insert has been beautifully preserved and is in Near Mint condition.
