Description
........Original true 1st day January 20, 1964 pressing copy of The Beatles’ second US album “Meet The Beatles!” and the band’s 1st album to be released on Capitol Records. 1st print label variation without the BMI / ASCAP publishing credits for all of the songs. 1st print single-type cardboard cover with a dark brown “The Beatles” banner on the front and no "Produced by George Martin" credit on the back. Just like the labels, the cover contains the Mono T-2047 catalog number. The lower right-hand corner of the back cover contains the RIAA 3 number identifying that this record was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Scranton, PA. This album is still in its original shrink wrap, and with the exception of some damage to the lower right corner, is in solid condition. The album itself is in excellent condition with minimal wear. The sleeve is stuck in the cover because someone tried to repair the split with glue, but the album goes in and out easily. Guaranteed to arrive as described, or your money back. Questions welcome.
