Original very early 1st Capitol Records pressing factory sealed copy manufactured by Apple Records. Outstanding copy with a unique price tag attached with a staple in the upper left-hand corner on the front of the gatefold cover. Vintage perforated record store price tag contains a fully intact stub with the catalog number "34001 AR" stamped in a reverse order and label name "Apple". The factory shrink wrap with two original breathe holes in the lower part of the cover. The back cover contains the red Apple Records logo, "Manufactured by Apple Records, Inc. 1700 Broadway, New York, New York, 10019" text and indicates Allen Klein's "an ABKCO managed company". Additionally, the back cover has a misprint, indicating the "Dig a Pony" track as "I Dig a Pony". There are no doubts that this copy has inside the 1st pressing vinyl containing the red Apple label with the "MFD. BY APPLE..." perimeter text. These labels might contain two variations of the author credits for the "Maggie Mae" track with one giving the arrangement credit to the four Beatles and the other, much rarer, reading "PD", referring to the song being in the public domain. This factory sealed copy is a very early 1st pressing released in the US on the Apple red label with the catalog number AR 34001 and is NOT the 1978 reissue on the purple Capitol Records label. The album is in Mint condition with only just some light barely noticeable bumping to the corners.
