This impressive 1969 1st UK mono pressing is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' credit.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 9/RDT & 9/GLP
Vinyl weight: 170g
Housed in a fully laminated UK printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the track listing on the rear panel.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
This little played disc has clean deep-gloss playing surfaces which reveal just a handful of extremely light surface marks & a sparkling rainbow when viewed beneath halogen light. Aside from some minor low-level vinyl background on quiter passages and a few ticks on the introduction of 'Sun King, there is little to fault overall and much to enjoy.
A beautifully clean, glossy & strong exmaple bearing just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkles on the front panel only, but precious little other signs of use. All corners are in great shape and both opening edges sharp & undamaged. There are a couple of tiny spine wrinkles but there is no damage to the lettering and all seams are smooth & unstressed.
