This fine sounding 1969 1st UK pressing is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' credit.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 1/MD & 2/AP
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in a fully laminated UK printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the track listing on the rear panel.
Complete with its original plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
This well looked-after disc retains clean deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing a couple of light surface marks each side but nothing we would call a scratch. Both labels are clean with a moderate collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole. Soundwise, everything is detailed & unworn with just a trace of vinyl background in some of the quiter passages but no clicks, pops or any other such distractions. A very nice listening copy.
A clean & glossy example with a small bend to the upper left corner and a few small 'thumbnails' towards the fornt openign edge. The rear panel bears a slight disc impression and a couple of small marks from storage but both seams & the spine are unstressed & unsplit.
