The Beatles – 1982 - MFSL/UHQR – “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” #2545/5000
1982 – Mobile fidelity Sound Lab / Ultra High Quality Recording MFQR 1-100 #2545 / 5000
Grade: Very Good / Good
This set is complete with certificate of authenticity, all MFSL promotional & technical inserts, styrofoam pads, original sleeves and inner & outer jackets. The original owner claims to have carefully-handled and played the album at least once, but even under bright light this observer cannot detect any sort of subtle handling or usage traces. The vinyl is absolutely free of any marks, scuffs, hairlines, or any other flaws. Simply; bright, shiny and glassy. The black MFSL master chipboard sleeve is not split, but does have about 1-inch of flaking along the middle of the bottom seam. The box was stored for many years but moving and transport have resulted in inevitable dings & wear including one corner tear on the bottom right side of the top outer cover. The break is not immediately obvious as it holds together well because of the strength of the other three corners. As seen in the photos, any wear to the box is minor and superficial. The following text is credited to discogs:
“This rare boxed set was produced in a limited edition, individually hand numbered run of 5000. The UHQR itself stood for Ultra High Quality Record. The vinyl is 180gm 'Super Vinyl', developed from improvements made during the creation of CD-4 Quadraphonic records. It is designed to be flatter, more consistent, harder wearing & pressed on an extreme precision press, almost totally eliminating disc eccentricity or warpage. This gives excellent channel separation & is designed for a flat frequency response across the range with negligible distortion or mid-range disc surface vibration. The box itself contains two carbon foam anti stain pads, one fold over stiffening card, a fold-out technical specification manual, a UHQR individually numbered & signed Certificate Of Authenticity, and the 13 Track vinyl LP in a unique hand numbered picture sleeve with anti-static inner sleeve. The box itself is high quality, textured & embossed with red text. Originally released in 1967.Limited edition of 5000 custom pressings. It was made from the master stamper at the Victor Company of Japan (JVC) plant in Yokohama, Japan during the July 1982."

Welcome to our Ebay store. We have been buying & selling vinyl for 34 years from our retail location in El Paso, Texas. We offer rare or obscure items with national or worldwide interest outside our regional marketplace. To avoid confusion, we have simplified our grading system with a generalized rating combined with a detailed description and photography. Vinyl is described first followed by the jacket condition.
· VG – Very Good - Appears Like-New. Possibly un-played or once-played.
· G - Good – Clean, minimally-played and carefully-handled. Minimal handling & wear. May include very faint usage or handling traces but retains original glossy-shine.
· FG – Fairly Good – Normal to average wear. May include scattered hairlines & some mild scuffing-blemishes which will not affect playback.
· F – Fair – Heavier wear and scuffing, but acceptable.
· P – Poor – Useful for artwork and liner-notes.
Audiophile or discriminating collectors are encouraged to consider only records in our Very Good or Good categories.
After extensive evaluation & research, all records are priced at a competitive fair market value for their designated condition. Higher demand items are offered for auction. Our descriptions are based on our own visual grading standards. With due respect to the future owner, we do not play-test records unless specifically requested by a serious potential buyer.
