M (Mint): Absolutely perfect in every way

NM (Near Mint): Nearly perfect, only few no audible surface marks.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): About 50% of NM conditions. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experiences.

VG (Very Good): Many of the defect of VG+ conditions are more evident on VG item. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages.
