EXPORT Decca LP / SKL 4838 (UK, Stereo, 1966)

Here’s a rare UK pressed export copy of this live LP.  Not often seen in the UK, this is an incredible near mint copy with unboxed labels and a front-laminated sleeve which will surely please even the most stringent collectors…

The labels are in fantastic shape with barely a spindle trail.  No writing, stickers, residue, dirt.  No fading and fantastic, vivid silver print.

The single-format sleeve is breathtaking.  Amazing shine to the front laminate.  Only one hard to spot crease.  Great sharp corners and lovely top and bottom edges.  Excellent spine with just a bit of compression but all text legible and proud.  NO rips, tears, writing, splits.  NO bleaching, loss of colour, scrapes, indentation or ripple.  NO real ring impression and sits flat.  Amazing to believe that this is a 1960s sleeve – so well preserved and hard to argue with a grade of M- (Mint Minus).  Just lovely!!

The vinyl is also superb.  Hardly any markings to speak of.  Possibly a couple of (very) light sleeve rubs and a faint scuff line but maintains fabulous shine.  NO hairlines, scratches, embedded dust.  A fine copy which looks the part.  Grades EX+ (Excellent Plus) visually.

IT HAS BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and plays beautifully as you would expect from such a good-looking disc.  Near silent run-ins, NO snap, crackle or pop.  NO ticks, clicks, hiss or distortion.  Play grade matches the visual one.

Supplied in its original ‘blue’ stereo inner.
