Here's an amazing find, the original 1972 Salsa Records pressing of THE GHETTO BROTHERS "Power-Fuerza" LP in great shape. This is NOT the reissue, but the GENUINE article of this rare Bronx funky Latin rock album. This is the same album made by the 1970s Bronx street gang as shown the documentary RUBBLE KINGS, the original article in very rare and SUPER CLEAN condition. Catalog number is SALSA 2008/ LP. S. 2008
VINYL: NM- wax, glossy and in great shape, clean labels (SEE IMAGES), and this record actually appears hardly played or even unplayed: this is remarkably clean for a Latin release of this age. FULLY PLAYTESTED and sounded great, bright and clean sound with bass and strong highs.
JACKET: VG++ original jacket is sharp and in very nice shape. It is STILL in original shinkwrap with some light wear at four jacket corners. The shrinkwrap has a small seam break at top edge corner but otherwise is in surprisingly strong condition. (The shines on the images are from the flash bouncing off the shrinkwrap). It would register a NM- but there is some clear tape on the shrinkwrap opening edge on the front and back. This is a common occurrence on Latin records for some reason, and the tape measures about 2.5 inches on each side (SEE IMAGES). This is old "scotch" AKA cellophane tape that usually is easy to remove but will be left intact for the buyer. 
Again, this is the ORIGINAL ARTICLE from 1972 and one that does not turn up much whatsoever. As with many Latin records from this part of the country, IF it does appear it is often in poor and heavily worn condition. THIS COPY however is incredibly sharp and clean, a copy worthy of any collector and suitable for archiving. 
This copy has already attracted considerable attention already from collectors at our store. We have chosen to list it online to give people a fair chance at this remarkable album. Please do not ask us to remove it.
