Description

THE EAT:    GIGGLING HITLER Records (Mfd in Miami in 1979)   COMMUNIST RADIO/CATHOLIC LOVE  -  This is it--one of the hardest to find records from the Miami Rock Scene.  It's #407 of 500, Privately Pressed, and sold by the band at its live gigs.  This one comes with the Insert that has the "making of this record" story, but not the Lyric sheet.  Instead, it has THE STICKER, which is rarer than the Record!  And it's in New, Unpeeled condition!  This is the only copy of this record that I've ever seen!   And I've lived in South Florida for over 40 years.  The folded Picture Sleeve has some light shelfwear, but not much;  it does have a 1/4" tear at the top of the fold in the Spine.  It's in Very Good condition, maybe better depending on how strict you are.  The Insert has a light crease and some small wear (several very small tears) along the Right Side, where it was caught in the middle/Spine and got a fold on that Side.  It's in VG condition, and the Sticker is unpeeled and like New.  The Labels are clean on both Sides, looking Almost New;  my camera doesn't like Red and couldn't take a really good picture of them.  I really don't think this record has been played much at all.  The Vinyl Record itself has some marks that at first glance look like scuffs, but I don't think they are scuffs.  Under a Jewler's magnifier, you can't see any scraping on the grooves.  You can't feel anything, and you can't hear anything.  I think they are food stains.  I think that someone who played this back in '79 was eating something and left food residue on the disc.  I tried cleaning with everything I use for vinyl, but nothing came off.  As I said before, you can see them, but you can't feel anything or hear anything.  There are more on the COMMUNIST RADIO Side, near the outer edge, and I took the best picture that I could so you can get an idea of what they look like;  it's the next to the last Picture.  I took dozens of pictures of the CATHOLIC side.  The marks on the CATHOLIC Side are small and very light.  The last picture is the best I could do.  The rest of the Vinyl of both sides is clean;  there are several very small, very light, and silent "paper scuffs" and looks VG++ (that is the rest of the vinyl away from the stains, which shows very little use).  Both Sides have some light background static at the opening run-in groove.  Then the music starts and plays clean---Almost New/New.  These songs are short, and most of them are right here on these clips.  I've posted some audio clips from both sides of this record at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/eat45comm.wma - If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO Files and listen for yourself. Crank up the Volume! Postage Rates have gone up. I can ship this anywhere in the USA 1st Class for $4.00. This should ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $14.00; Canada will cost around $9.00. If this sells to a non-US Buyer, and it sells for $50-$120, it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay 5.50 of the 13.95 Registered Mail Fee. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for $120-$1200, it will have to ship Air Priority Small Package ($45.00), and I'll have to pay for Insurance for the full amount sold. If it sells to a non-US Buyer for over $1200, it will have to ship Express Mail International , which will cost around $120.00,  and I'll pay for Insurance.  If you want to pay outside of the Paypal system, then I can send this out to you any way you want; (we can work this out later). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping.  The US Post Office has made it very difficult to Insure packages leaving the country. PLEASE DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN eBAY INVOICE FROM ME.  No Reserve. Good luck!
