Description

THE BEATLES “YELLOW SUBMARINE” LP

PCS 7070, STEREO

Made and printed in Great Britain

Matrix:

-Side One: YEX 715-1

-Side Two: YEX 716-1

---PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ---

-This record is warped. The warp can be seen when played, visually affects a range of 1/6 of the vinyl and it’s located at 9 o’clock of Side One.

-This record has been played tested with different arm weights.

-With weights above the ones stated on description below for each side the record plays smoothly, the warp does not affect the sound and there are no jumps or skips.

-Please read record description. I try to be as conservative as possible to avoid disappointments.

Side One:

-Plays smoothly with >1.5 grams.

-Sound quality is VG+, or even better. This is a high quality pressing and the music is always loud and clear.

-Some background noise can be heard especially on quiet parts and between songs but always on low level, below the actual music, and doesn’t affect playing.

-No jumps or skips.

-Four light clicks can be heard at the beginning of “All too much”.

-Visually the record is in VG++. No deep scratches, very few hairlines.

-Label is in VG++ condition. Please see photo.

Side Two:

-Plays smoothly with >1.7 grams

-Sound quality ranges between VG and VG+. As stated above, keep in mind that this is a high quality pressing and sound is always loud and clear.

-Background noise is more prominent on this side.

-Four light clicks on “Pepperland” produced by a light scratch.

-A scratch goes from middle of fourth track until the end (about 5cm long). This scratch produces a click that can be heard. On my opinion the music is still very listenable.

-Visually this side is in VG condition. Slightly more worn than Side One with few hairlines, the above mentioned 5 cm scratch and the light scratch at the beginning. Otherwise would be a VG++. Please see photo.

-Label is in Good Condition. Some tears. No signatures. Please see photo.

Front sleeve is in VG condition. Complete. No tears. Slightly worn around the edges. Light scratches near Beatles boots. Some creases on laminate – please see photos.

Back sleeve is in VG condition.

-Worn and with slight ringwear.

-Worn around the edges especially near record entrance with just one 1mm tear.

-Signature near Side One tracklist.

-Two song titles on Side One are underlined with pencil.

-Light Stamp near the Side Two tracklist.

-Missing original Parlophone sticker

Spine is in VG condition.

-Some creases.

-Lettering is legible except for a 2 mm dent near the “ell”.
