Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my rare Beatles, Beatles Related and Rolling Stones records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
On offer, an extremely rare <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />U.K. 1st EXPORT pressing The Beatles – Yesterday b/w Dizzy Miss Lizzy on the Parlophone label with cat. no. DP 563.
The record is in VG condition, there are some hairlines and some non-sounding marks on the “Dizzy Miss Lizzy” side. I’ve test played this record and it plays through fine, with only some background noise and a sort of “SHHH” halfway through “Yesterday”. This wil only last for about three revolutions. The labels are in VG condition, there is a small sticker residue and a “bubbly” spot, caused by sticker removal. The text in the rim is THE PARLOPHONE CO. (later pressings have THE GRAMMOPHONE CO. rim text). Unfortunately the original push-out centre has been pushed out.
The single comes with an U.K. Parlophone company cover, which is in VG condition. There is some handling and storage wear, some age browning spots on each side and two very tiny tears on the die-cut hole on both front and back.
Despite the condition, this is an extremely hard to find Beatles EXPORT single. Just how many are pressed and how many are still left? This is a real opportunity to complete your life-time Beatles record collection! A must have for all Beatles records collectors! Happy Bidding!
