This is a UK audiophile pressing from 1984 in stereo on the Parlophone label, cat. no. PCS 7027 and produced by Nimbus Supercut, in conjuction with Hi-Fi today magazine.

Vinyl: MINT. The vinyl is in unbelievable condition with a totally high gloss shine and not the slightest hint of a mark. This is the clearest record I have ever heard. I have never even had new ones like this.

Labels: MINT. Labels are in lovely condition with no markings. There is no spindle wear on either label.

Sleeve: MINT. The gatefold sleeve is in amazing condition and like new without any sign of wear. It is still in its original shrink wrapping and , although the record has been taken out, the gatefold has never even been unsealed or opened. The inner cut out sheet NM.

Issued in 1984 in an extremely small quantity (in the region of circa 1,000 only) and available by Mail Order Only and sold exclusively to the readers of Hi-Fi Today Magazine, this very rare STEREO LP was pressed by Nimbus Records UK, and was the only Beatles album to be issued by Nimbus.

This Special Pressing LP is on the official Black & Silver Parlophone Label, with Two EMI Boxed logo’s. The Nimbus pressing comes in a plain white Made in Great Britain inner bag, which is polythene lined, and is housed in a traditional Garrod & Lofthouse Gate-fold Sleeve. On the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, there is an official Gold Printed Sticker which reads ‘Supercut Mastered and Pressed exclusively for readers of Hi-Fi Today by Nimbus Records’.

Please note that the wording NIMBUS ENGLAND is machine stamped in the trail off area of the dead wax on both sides.

Both matrix’s are hand etched and read, side 1, YEX 637-A, and side 2, YEX 638-B.
