Description

THE BEATLES 45 Record "Eight Days a Week"  & "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" with orig picture sleeve VG++  I got this record from a friend's estate.  He apparently bought these as a teenager and kept them without playing them for all these years!  The vinyl looks as if it has never been played! I would rate it NEW, but the thing is 50 years old so I am listing it as mint!  The label is also mint.  The sleeve is nothing special.  However, it is original.  As you can see in the pictures, just being 50 years old has caused the Capitol sleeve to age.  I have see a lot of the Beatles "Help" records listed, but not like this one.  It has the small fonts along with the Subsidiary label. I have not see too many of these on ebay for several months!  I am starting the bidding pretty low to begin.  Enjoy!

I am posting quite a few Beatles and Rolling Stones records, so be sure and check those out too!

Condition:  Vinyl: Mint Label: Mint Sleeve:  Original Capitol Sleeve

Shipping:  Records are shipped in sleeve in a postal cardboard mailer specially made for mailing 45 records.  Will ship via USPS first class parcel mail.  Combined shipping is available under the following terms:  First item will be $3.00.  Each additional item will be an additional $1.00.  You must purchase these within the same 24 hour window in order to take advantage of the combined shipping discounts because I make every effort to ship out within one day.  Once you purchase several records during the same 24 hour timeframe, I will refund you back the difference of $2.00 per record (after paying the first $3.00).

VINAL RATINGS

·         NM = Near Mint Condition – I looks like it has hardly or never been played.

·         VG + = Very Good Plus Condition – It looks really good with little, or light, or no surface scratches that will not distract significantly from the sound.   Excellent looking with next to perfect looks and wear.

·         VG =  Very Good Condition - Has been moderately played with moderate surface wear and usage.  However, it looks to be in great condition and one I would not hesitate to recommend as a nice vinal.

·         G – Good Condition - Has been played significantly, but plays fine with no major scratches or problems.

·         F- Fair Condition -Shows very heavy wear.  No guarantees.

SLEEVE / COVER RATINGS:

·         NM = Near Mint Condition - In near mint or perfect condition.  No frayed edges, no ring marks.

·         VG+ = Very Good Plus Condition – In extra good condition with maybe a dented corner, slight ring marks, no stains.

·         VG = Very Good Condition showing only slight or moderate wear.  One edge or side may be slit or open, but the rest is in great shape.

·         G = Good Condition - Shows some normal wear.

·         F = Fair Condition – Could have some major wear, stains, tears, fading, etc.

LABEL RATINGS:

  • VG+ = Very Good Plus – Is in excellent condition with no signs of wear.  From near mint to very nice.

  • G = Good – Label is in good condition with possibly a ring wear or something minor or insignificant.

  • F = Fair – Label shows heavy wear, but can still be identified.

  • W = Writing – Has handwriting or signature, written name, etc. on it probably for a past owner to identify it back in the day.

  • S = Sticker – Has some sort of sticker attached to it; Label, price sticker, jukebox label, ownership label, etc.

  • T = Tore -  Some part of the label is torn or peeled away from sticker removal, etc.

Records will be mailed in a cardboard mailer with sleeve.

On Feb-20-14 at 09:49:34 PST, seller added the following information:

I need to make a couple of notes:  In the description area, it mistakenly says that this record is THE BEATLES 45 Record "Eight Days a Week"  & "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party" with orig picture sleeve VG++  However, this is a mistake as I copy and pasted from another listing.   This record is the "Help" & "I'm Down" record.  It is in awesome condition... NM to Mint.

Also,

I wanted to add the following information:  I did some research and this record has the triangle with the "IAM" inside meaning it was pressed at the Scranton, VA plant.
