Description
This is a vintage Beatles bootleg LP. THE BEATLES ON STAGE IN JAPAN 1966 TOUR was released in the early 70's on PIG'S EYE RECORDS and I bought my copy through the mail back then. Some are still amazing artifacts and stand the test of time. Most any rare Beatles tracks have gone on to be reissued on bootleg CD's, legitimate projects (better source/cleaned-up/remixed-BEATLES ANTHOLOGY/LIVE AT THE BBC), or can be found online. But, this was where we first discovered many new rarities via mail order. NONE of these ever came shrink wrapped as long as I was buying them---EVER! This was a new release when I ordered it through the mail. The real deal. I am a 'detail' person (wish I wasn't as obsessive).
It was a gamble buying bootleg LP's back in the day. If you had a trusted seller they might let you return something if there was something MAJOR wrong. No internet or emails. A different world.

DISC - *Side 1 - Raised small speck in BABY'S IN BLACK - hear 3 dull 'fup's'. Expected worse. Does not skip (tried it on my two turntables). Heard one small tic in DAY TRIPPER.
Side 2 - I see a few smoother/rounded off TINY specks on this side, About 3. One louder tic in YESTERDAY. Pretty clean for an early 'old school' bootleg! *o/w Looks VG+, Plays VG+
COVER - Light blue printed sheet glued to plain white cover. BC has mild signs of handling and 1/2" seam split mid bottom I minimally glued. VG/VG+
