Komplette und Original erste US Stereo Pressung des Albums Yesterday and Today von den Beatles.


Hier ein 2nd state Butcher Cover. Auf der rechten Seite sieht man Ringo‘s schwarzen Pullover durchscheinen. Diese LP wurde in Scranton gepresst (RIAA 2 auf der Rückseite).


Man kann das Cover auch peelen, aber aufgrund des exzellenten Zustand ist es nicht empfehlenswert.


Das Cover ist near mint.


Es gibt einen kleinen Farbunterschied neben George‘s Kopf und 2 minimale Einstiche (Nadel?) oben links.


Ansonsten ist das Cover nahezu perfekt.


Die oberen und unteren Kanten sowie der Rücken sind geschlossen.

This is a '2nd state' withdrawn Butcher cover with Trunk slick paste over.


This can be identified by the v-shape of Ringo's black turtleneck under white butcher's coat that is partially visible on the right hand side of the front sleeve, through the pasted over trunk slick.


This particular cover was printed at the Scranton plant - identifiable by the small number '2' in the bottom right corner of the back of the sleeve. The Scranton plant Butcher cover paste overs were done with a water-based glue that makes them easier to peel and turn into a '3rd state' Butchers sleeve with the original cover design revealed - should you choose to do so! Of course left as-is this is an outstanding condition collectors item and curious part of The Beatles history. 


There are only two things - a discoloration 0,2 inch left to George’s head and two small pinholes in the upper left corner. Otherwise it’s near perfect.


Maybe there are only 10-15 copies like this.
