As is now well known these Fan Club Xmas Flexi Discs were not available in record retail outlets as they were only available  to all current Fan Club members and sentout free towards the end of December 1968, 
Unlike the previoux Fan Club Xmas Flexi Disc Issues , each of The Beatles recorded theirChristmas messages seperately. George introduced Tiny Tim singing a bizarre version ofNowhere Man.The Recording consists of sounds and Fab greetings, including “ Happy Christmas Happy New Year “  Johnno’s  poem “ Jock & Yono “ and“ Once Upon a Time Pool Table “. Guest appearing artist Tiny Tim absolutely destroys“ Nowhere Man “
All the separate recordings were passed to Kenny Everett for editing together.
The Fabulous Psychedelic Sleeve was designed by Paul McCartney.
This the 1968 UK Fan Club Xmas Flexi Disc was the first of the discs to be issued as aDouble sided flexi disc with the label details being printed DIRECTLY ONTO THE VINYL.Due to an unknown problem with this printing process both the 1968 & final 1969 flexi discs printon these vinyl discs was very prone to fading, indeed on many examples the text has faded outcompletely leaving just a blank disc on side 1.This however is NOT the case with this superb example.

CONDITION;

Please Note; In my opinion the grading of vinyl records and sleeves is at best subjective                     So with this in mind I will always err on the side of caution with my                     Grading’s. Which are based on the ‘Record Collector‘ UK Grading’s                      There seems to be far too many  vinyl records being offered for sale                                         that are NOT realistically graded   


DISC;    LABEL,  DIRECT PRINTING              EXCELLENT
                              As can be seen from the photographs all the disc printing is in superb                              Condition with all the printing still very clear                               
DISC; VINYL.                EXCELLENT    ( Flexi Disc Grading )          
                              On close inspection under my powerful Halogen desk lamp I could detect                                    NO stylus marks or feelable scratches of any kind, on side two there are some                               Darker Black lines within the vinyl ( THESE ARE NOT SCRATCHES )                              And DO NOT impact on the Audio in any way.

DISC AUDIO,               EXCELLENT    ( Flexi Disc Grading )
                             I have only ever played this disc ONCE for this listing and it plays                              Really very well for a Flexi Disc, There were NO skips, jumps or stalls                             Just an occasional dust pop here and there and a little light static.                             

SLEEVE;                                             MINT -  
                            As can be seen from the close up photographs the sleeve is in absolutely                                 Stunning all round condition with NO fading or age toning of the white                            Background and vibrant coloured sleeve.

                            GUARANTEED ORIGINAL VINTAGE “ SUPERPIX “ SERIES ‘ B ‘                                                          SALES SERVICE Order Form from December 1968.                            This UK Fan Club Promo Sales form was sent out with some of the 1968                                      Xmas Flexi Discs for some fan club photographs which were only available                             To purchase by fan club members.                             This double sided promo flyer hardly ever appears for sale with the 1968                              Flexi Disc as many of them were simply discarded as of no interest .

                            This is an actual GENUINE ORIGINAL ‘SUPERPIX ‘ PHOTOGRAPH                             Of GEORGE, AS ADVERTISED ON THE ABOVE FORM.

ORIGINAL MAILER;                       EXCELLENT.
                             This the ORIGINAL UK FAN CLUB MAILER that the above flexi was                              Sent out in has survived in superb condition. As can be seen from the                             Photo’s the rear flap is not torn which is rare to find on these original                                Mailers, it shows some light creasing and light age toning but overall                             It would be hard to improve on.



This superb example has always been stored in acid free tissue paper resulting in the Sleeve retaining it’s as new appearance with no colour fading 
 
Overall in my opinion this is a rare and excellent complete example of this ever harder to find 6TH  Fan Club Flexi Disc  particularly with the original promo / insert , photograph and Mailer.An excellent investment for a Beatles Collector that can only continue to increase in value
