I have a large number of MFSL sealed LP's. I cannot bring myself to open them. I have decided to pass them along to someone who can enjoy them through play, or to an avid Collector.
This LP is an original factory sealed MFSL audiophile reissue of Limited Edition, numbering 0375, of two great Jazz artist, Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto The original ensemble was done in 1964 and in 1965 won a Grammy for Best Album of the Year and Best Jazz Instrumental Album . A favorite recognized by most all who have an affinity with music, will know the song "The Girl From Ipanema." This was the last Jazz LP to win the prestigious Grammy award until 43 years later when Herbie Hancock won it in 2008.
An asset to any discriminating audiophile and Jazz enthusiast. CONDITION: Very good original unopened condition. DIMENSIONS: 12" LP I ONLY offer pre-owned used antiques, or collectibles. Rarely do I offer new unused items. Virtually everything I offer has signs of wear commensurate with: age, daily use, storage, mishaps, or manufacturing defects. My photographs will disclose major issues. Superficial blemishes resulting from age or long term use, may or may not be shown, and should be expected of an item which has been used or stored. Unless the item is described as "NOS," i.e. New Old Stock, New, or Unused, expect that it will show varying signs of wear commensurate with use or storage and/or may be in need of service. Do not assume if the photos do not show a minor blemish that the item is free of any defects. While I am very thorough with my photos and description, it is the Buyer's responsibility as a Collector/Bidder to make specific inquiries about the item being offered, and consequently making their own informed decision based on the pictures or questions they may have.
