Description
This is Impulse Records AS-9111, Sonny Rollins Alfie, an orange and black label, original stereo issue with Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax, featuring Kenny Burrell, Roger Kellaway and arrangements by Oliver Nelson. The record is in VG++ condition with only paper sleeve marks, that do not effect the play, keeping it from being near mint. The record plays quietly throughout. The labels are perfect. The glossy original gate-fold cover (and original inner sleeve) is excellent and intact. A wonderful copy of this collectible original issue offered without a reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
