Description
This Smiths record is a very rare 2-sided, green label test pressing for their withdrawn early single 'Reel Around the Fountain'. The original plan was to release this as a follow-up to their debut single 'Hand in Glove', but soon after a few test pressings were made, this idea was scrapped in favor of releasing 'This Charming Man' instead. This record is one of those test pressings. It even has the same catalogue number as the 'This Charming Man' single that replaced it (RT 136)!
It is rated #2 on Record Collector's list of most valuable Smiths rarities.
The b-side is 'Jeane', the same as the eventually released single.
Condition:
Record is Near Mint. As it is a test pressing, it comes in a generic black sleeve.
