Description

As you may be aware I have been asked by a close friend to sell much off his Pistols collection that he has purchased from auction houses up and down the country as well as Ebay.

This is the extremely rare Sex Pistols God Save the Queen A&M sound Demo Acetate, I have researhed this before listing it and to the best of my knowlege 9 or 12 were pressed to test the sound quality prior to the A&M single being pressed, I am unsure how many are left in existance. This record is far heavier than a traditional 7" record and comes in a plain white sleeve. Please find below a quote from the previous owner of this record, I can forward this email to the winning bidder as proof of authenticity.

The condition of the record and the sleeve are both near mint, it appears unplayed.

"I've got this item from the original owner an A&M employee responsible for test the production quality, they told me there were only a few acetates, all of them used to make the plates, this one was the first and was used to test the quality of the recording. He left A&M in the early eighties and retired in the early nineties"

Now for the postage prices, if you are a UK winning bidder and the most you will pay for postage is £9 as long as the record does no go over £2500, if is goes for less you will pay less but I want to make sure it is insured up to the price it meets. If you are an overseas, if the item sell for under £500 I can do it for around £20, but if it sell for more this will increase, On the completion of the aution we can discuss shipping arrangements.
