In 1973 when I was recording in Nashville with Shelby Singleton as producer he took me on a tour of his warehouse where he had a substantial stock of original Sun records which he had purchased from Sam Phillips at Sun in Memphis, TN.  Shelby also aquired the rights to all Sun masters.  He loaded me with several Mint Copies of several albums.  This is one of those albums.  You will notice in the photos pictures of the labels.  That is because I have a second copy but the album up for auction Is Sealed.

Our Record Grading System-

 VG is “Very Good,” this means the record has been played, maybe even stored in a stack or records and has minor surface wear but has a good sheen on the vinyl and plays well with minimal surface pops or noise. The label is in near perfect condition unless specifically noted.

 VG+ Is better than VG

 Excellent is close to Mint but has been played and may look Mint.

 Mint is a record that has never been played and or shows absolutely no visible or audio sign of ever having a needle in the groove.

 I do not list any records that are not at least a VG grade according to this grading method. I do understand that many collectors have different opinions regarding how records are graded according to condition. This can be a subjective art.
