LP - On Prestige Records, #7133. Original 1958 MONO pressing with the
classic Yellow & Black labels and the 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C.
address on the labels. The label is Deep Groove on both sides with RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated
cardboard cover. The personnel: Sonny Stitt/tenor sax; Kenny Drew, Duke Jordan, Junior Mance/piano; Gene Wright, Tommy Potter/bass; Art Blakey, Wesley Landers/drums. The vinyl is in EX to EX+ condition (beautiful luster, some light marks). Plays great. The thick glossy cover is in VG to VG+ shape and displays well. Some wear at corners; 3" split to the bottom seam, at base; very slight lamination flaking/separation along the opening. There are NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: Nevertheless; Count Every Star; Nice Work; There'll Never Be Another You; Blazin'; Mean To Me; Avalon; After You've Gone; Stairway To The Stars; 'Swonderful; Jeepers Creepers; Our Very Own.
