SONNY STITT Stitt's Bits PRESTIGE LP W 50th Kenny Drew

******************  SONNY STITT QUARTET "STITT'S BITS" LP - On Prestige Records, #7133.  Original 1958 MONO pressing with the classic Yellow & Black labels and the 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. address on the labels.  The label is Deep Groove on both sides with RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Sonny Stitt/tenor sax; Kenny Drew, Duke Jordan, Junior Mance/piano; Gene Wright, Tommy Potter/bass; Art Blakey, Wesley Landers/drums.  The vinyl is in EX to EX+ condition (beautiful luster, some light marks).  Plays great.  The thick glossy cover is in VG to VG+ shape and displays well.  Some wear at corners; 3" split to the bottom seam, at base; very slight lamination flaking/separation along the opening.  There are NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  The songs are:  Nevertheless; Count Every Star; Nice Work; There'll Never Be Another You; Blazin'; Mean To Me; Avalon; After You've Gone; Stairway To The Stars; 'Swonderful; Jeepers Creepers; Our Very Own.

***Crisp original rice paper inner sleeve included!***
