SONNY ROLLINS Way Out West CONTEMPORARY S7530 LP stereo vintage very good condit
Vintage copy of Sonny Rollins Way Out West. Contemporary Stereo S7530 (printed top right of sleeve). Spine indicates S7530 Sonny Rollins "Way Out West" with Ray Brown & Shelly Manne * Contemporary Records Stereo.
Sleeve has signs of shelf wear and age. Minor bends to corners at opening. Minor wear at edges. Printing on spine is not centered and practically wraps around to front cover.
Original paper sleeve has browned with age but is in very good condition otherwise.
Album proper is in excellent condition with nothing I can see to describe as an imperfection aside from dust and fingerprints.
First song is I'm An Old Cowhand which is what made me buy this with exception to having at least heard of Sonny Rollins. I tried really hard to like this but apparently I just don't understand jazz. I still whistle the first few bars from having listened to this but then Sonny goes off into Bebop land and I just don't know what the heck is going on. One day I may regret letting this go but figure it would be better appreciated by someone else.
Records I am selling are as I found them and came from a collection from a casual listener, not a collector and show signs of use and enjoyment and are in need of cleaning. I collect tools and guitars and while a fan of music in general I don't normally deal in vinyl lps other than to listen to them for my own enjoyment and I don't do much of it at that. All of which is a long-winded way to explain that I'm not a dealer and I'm not confident in my lp grading skills in comparison to what you might consider to be "industry standards". Have taken Max number of photos and described to best of my abilities. Please see photos and ask all questions before bidding. Please be aware that what might be significant to you might escape my attention as a novice. Will be shipped in standard lp mailer. Can combine shipping for multiple wins. Thanks and good luck.
