Description
This is a 78 rpm record of Sonny Boy Williamson on Trumpet label # 129 - "Eyesight to the Blind" b/w "Crazy about You Baby". Released in 1951, this is his first recording. Trumpet was a small recording label in Jackson, Miss., and was mainly southern blues artists. Extremely rare. As far as condition, in my opinion as a long-time record dealer, I don't believe this has ever been played - as you can see, the a-side label is off-center, which is a factory defect, very common to this label - the rough service on the labels are not scratches, but poor quality underneath - again, very common to this label.
