Slander were a Blackpool metal band that could have been massive if only they'd recorded this album ten years earlier. As it was, despite radio support from Tommy Vance and Alan Freeman, great reviews in Metal Hammer and a successful slot on the Headbangers Ball Tour the band called it a day in 1993. According to www.metalgigs.co.uk Slander reformed in late 2008 and are currently working on that difficult second album.

CONDITION:

VINYL EXCELLENT+ The vinyl is beautifully clean and bright with only a few very light signs that the record has ever been played. The white paper labels are clean and unmarked. 

AUDIO EXCELLENT+ The sound reproduction play grades as EXCELLENT+ throughout.

LYRIC INSERT NEAR MINT Clean and uncreased.

INNER SLEEVE EXCELLENT The plain white inner bag has some folded corners. Along with this, the record will be dispatched in a new polylined paper inner sleeve.

OUTER SLEEVE EXCELLENT- The sleeve has some minor edge creases along the spine, and some clear ring wear on the AND of the band's name on both the front and back covers; other than this there is little to report.

This record will be removed from its outer sleeve and dispatched in a plastic cover WITH FOUR CARDBOARD STIFFENERS and posted in strong, good quality cardboard packaging. Please try to recycle the packing cardboard if possible - it might just help to offset the damage done when it was originally manufactured. Alternatively, throw it away and set fire to a couple of old tyres.
