You might find an A&M God Save The Queen before you find another one of these in this condition!

Bought new in 1977 in NZ by me. Both sleeve AND vinyl state ‘’<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />NEW ZEALAND’’. It has the logo off Virgin’s NZ subsidiary RTC on the sleeve. For an illustration of the sleeve, go to this link: http://www.philjens.plus.com/pistols/pistols/singles_vacant_nz77.htm

Record is MINT…not very often played. Sleeve is Excellent and only let down by a 50% seam split on the spine, the result of years of being carefully removed from plastic sleeve, admired, and put back in the sleeve. This is a very thin gloss sleeve, and I should have taken the record out of it years ago. All these Kiwi punk rock pic sleeves were always splitting after a few years.

THE PICTURE HERE IS  IDENTICAL TO WHAT I AM SELLING BUT IS ***NOT*** MY COPY. MY COPY HAS FAR BETTER CONDITION SLEEVE. I pulled this image off the internet because my Mac will not upload to Photobucket. Happy to send a phonecamera pic of the copy for sale to anyone who asks.

Only 500 of these pressed at most, and of those, no more than 100 came with a pic sleeve. It may have been fewer. You bought this, and records like this, on the week of release or you never saw another copy! That is why so many of THE punk rarities are New Zealand pressings.

The last three of these to appear on eBay in the last decade fetched between $US800 and $US1200 (the last one sold here) depending on condition. None had vinyl has nice as this. I was offered $400 sight unseen by one dealer this week. So, knowing how collector vinyl businesses ‘’mark up’’,  you can guess what they would advertise it at!.

The only rarer NZ Pistols artefact is Anarchy on EMI. EMI’s pressing plant in Wellington pressed up a couple of hundred, then the band were dumped by EMI UK, with subsequent orders from London to destroy the pressing. Only a few survived, souvenired by plant workers. Yes, I have held one but never owned one, it never got to the shops. But anyway. That’s another story.

This disc is in the UK right now. Will ship from the UK at end of auction.  Given its rarity,  we can discuss what method you would prefer delivery in terms of security. And insurance. There will be NO postage ripoffs, actual cost only. Can't set postage at more than four pounds on this listing, but with full insurance, it will be a little more.

Please note: You are dealing with a trustworthy buyer and occasional seller. I have had one negative feedback in nine years .....I sold an item to a guy when in Australia last year and I could not use my UK Paypal account to accept his payment. The buyer ignored that, and that's why my feedback, which was 99% to 100% for eight years, is at an all time low. Bloody irritating, but feel free to check! Thanks.

NOTE to the high bidder Chris in London. You gave me an incorrect email address when you requested pix. The email has just bounced back at 2.15pm Weds. Please text your email address or message me it again. I cannot send you a message as a/ i do not have your email b/ once i responded, as i did, to your request, eBay will NOT let me contact you again. Selling on eBay is a bit of a pain in the ass, folks...I have wasted all early afternoon trying to add photos to this listing on my Mac then my PC, and cannot smoothly update the title or orig descrip.
