PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
WILDLY RARE original Ray Janos mastered US/Canadian RTI (Record Technology Incorporated) deluxe audiophile gatefold first pressing from January 22, 2008 on Matador pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl with the original rectangular hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover, circular silver reflective RTI HQ-180 hype sticker directly below it and a bonus disc with five exclusive addition covers of songs by The Hot Boys, Mody Grape, Nick Cave, Roberta Flack and Patsy Cline!!! LP is STILL SEALED and mint. I bought this new at Reckless Records here in Chicago and filed it away in my personal collection until today when I took these pics. Even has the original custom barcoded Reckless info label dated January, 2008 (and listed as new so you know it's legit) from when I purchased this rarity over 17 years ago(!) at their Wicker Park location. A still sealed deluxe first pressing of this rarity with airtight provenance that can be traced to the exact month and point of purchase. THIS is what collecting is about. A massive current and guaranteed future collectible so don't sleep. This one is for serious collectors.
