Up for auction this week is a large selection of vintage vinyl records from the estate of a Pittsburgh collector. She collected from the 30's through the '70's. Jazz, early Rockabilly, Blues, foreign pressings, demo only copies, rare 1st. pressings and more will be offered in lots with very low starting prices. We want these records to go to a buyer that will appreciate them. We do not even own a turntable. This auction is for two records. Big Maceo Merriweather and John Lee Hooker Fortune LP 3002. Fortune Records 3942 Third Street, Detroit 1, Michigan. All original including sleeve. See photos. Album cover is starting to split but continues to hold record. Cover still has 99 cent original price in pencil. The second album is the first LP from Little Richard. Here's Little Richard Specialty High Fidelity SP2100. Record looks okay, cover is rough. We're selling the Fortune LP and including Little Richard in the deal. This item, as with the majority of our offerings, are fresh to the secondary market from estate acquisitions. When needed, we blow off enough "attic dust" to see what we have and stop there. Any further cleaning, polishing, etc. is at the discretion of the new owner. Sensible questions answered to the best of our ability. This week however we will not be able to answer questions from Sat. through end of sale. Payment in full requested within five (5) calendar days to avoid resale. Postage shown is USPS domestic rate delivered to your door. Foreign postage will cost more. Insurance is always a highly recommended option. We can pack it tight & right, but cannot hand deliver it. We ship the Monday following payment in full. Thank you for looking.
