FEATURES THE exhuberent Dave Walker on vocals, a classic blues howler in the finest blues boom tradition. His vocals are both relaxed yet contain enough grit and gravel to compete with the best of 'em. Some fine material here - a neat mixture of up beat and down in the mouth blues lending a very sanquine feel to proceedings. Do not overlook the contribution of keyboradsit Paul Raymond(e) who's laid back support is the perfect foil for Kim Simmonds blistering lead guitar work and Walker's haunting vocal support.
Some great tracks here including the in concert favourite 'Shot In The Head', ' The Saddest Feeling', 'Howling For My Darling', 'Denim Demon' and 'Love To Please'. All tracks with different musical foundations yet strangely married to each other by delicate arrangemnets and a love of the blues. Actually, this is one of my favourite Savoy albums and one of the first I ever heard.
Beautiful copy with the flip top satchel style cover completely intact and undamaged.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Cover: Again, no signs of use. Housed in a beautifully illustrated satchel style cover - with the flip top in undamaged perfect shape. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Stiff uncrushed spine - stunning. Beautiful and impossible to find like this after 36 years. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
