This is a vintage hard to find recorded in 1988 and released in 1989 sealed metal 12" EP record by Raw Energy titled "White Stallion". This is the original pressing and not a reissue. This ultra rare lp was recorded live here in Columbus, Ohio at Golden Ear Recording Studio. They dubbed in leads & singing. The group consisted of: Steve Allen on bass guitar & vocal, Joe Allen on drums & vocal, and Joe Paul on guitar. The songs are (with descriptions by Steve Allen himself): 1. White Stallion a heavy metal jazz fusion cut. 2. Black Rider a straight hard core hard rock song. 3. Rockin You a top 40 radio play song that is played on Doom Radio today. 4. Death Stalker is a straight heavy hard core thrash rock song. Steve Allen said he wrote & co-wrote these songs in junior high school. They have been called The Power Trio of the 80's, their music has been called melodic thrash and one interview said "Raw Energy sucks cause they didn't put out another album". This record is very popular in the UK & Germany as #1 and there are many websites about this lp & group. This scarce LP is on the Raw Records label #001. If you like Black Sabbath, Mettalica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden & Dio, you'll love this band. They didn't press a lot of copies and it's very hard to find one. The photo & the poster photo are not for sale and do not come with the record. We have a different opened copy that we scanned the label from. Condition is vintage factory sealed. There are no tears, splits, stickers, writing or cut out holes. This record is scarce!
