Radio-Active Records Policy

Thank you for checking out our items. Please check out our other auctions for more rare lps, 12 inches, cds, dvds memorabilia & more!

Radio-Active Records is an independent record/CD shop based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following are our policies regarding item condition, answering emails, and shipping:

Item condition descriptions:

Factory sealed means the item is BRAND NEW.

Mint means the record is no longer in original packaging or that existing packaging has been opened. The item however is in absolute LIKE NEW condition.

Very good Means the item including its packaging may show signs of minor wear but that the item plays with little or no audible distraction. VG items may also be rated with ++, +, -, or --. The closer and item is to mint the greater the number of pluses. The closer the item is to merely Good, the greater the number of minuses.

Good means there is noticible wear on both the item and the packaging/cover. The defects, however are not of a nature so as to disrupt or disturb the playing and enjoyment of the item.

Radio-Active Records does not sell items that are not in at least Good condition.

Email policy:

Because we do not have time to answer all emails, those pertaining to condition most likely will not be answered. We list the condition of items based on the above qualities; if we say an item is mint, it is, very good is just that, etc. So please refrain from sending unnecessary emails asking to clarify an item's condition. Chances are we will not answer. Please don't email asking our reserve price. We will not divulge our reserve price on items that are up for auction. To us this negates the whole point of the auction. Bid what you believe the item is worth to you; if it fails to meet our reserve, you'll have to make another bid. Items without a reserve will probably have a "Buy It Now" price with them.

Shipping policy:
Most all single items will be mailed first class mail, unless requested otherwise. Or, unless weight is a major factor in the cost of shipping the item. In that case the item will be shipped Media Mail unless requsted otherwise and negotiated shipping costs are agreed upon. Our shipping days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
